Wii U tripping my electricity when playing Tipping Stars

I kid you not, this is a real issue.

I just downladed Tipping Stars and on multiple occasions it has tripped the breaker when playing world 1-2.  I thought it was the Wii U itself, so I unplugged a host of other items to leave as little on the circuit as possible, but it still tripped.  I can play any other game for hours at a time without issue, but not Tipping Stars.

I'll give it another go but I've never heard of something like this before.
