My copy of Super Smash Brothers for Wii U was working fine on launch day and for the first week. However, the last two weeks when I try to play the game it tries to install a update to the game. The update finishes downloading and once it tries to install I get this error code.
There is no a lot of information about this error code online and the little information that is there mentions it has something to do with an external harddrive. I am no using nor have I ever used an external on my Wii U. All my other games work fine except for this one.
I've tried deleting all the game saves, download history, and so on. I've also tried disconnecting my Wii U from the internet in hopes I could avoid the update all together but all it says is I need to connect to the internet to install the update. This is infuriating, and I really want to resolve the issue, if anyone has any other ideas please let me know. Thank you.
