Yes, you should have received some sort of reply by now, and probably the best thing to do is give them a call at Nintendo's 1-800-255-3700 (6 am ~ 7 pm Pacific, everyday) Customer Service number to get a more speedy and direct response.
And while you don't really like talking on the phone, no worries, they are very friendly and really are just gamers like us.
