I get the EXACT same thing. My game worked fine EVERY time I played it from launch. After updating MK8, two updates ago my game does not work. It just hangs at that screen where I hear the cars racing and thats it. I have unplug the system. I'm not happy at all Nintendo. I spent 70 dollars on this game and now I can't play it. Not one other game does this. I have over 25 games. There isn't a single scratch on the disc. It's mint. I feel that Nintendo should be replacing this even though it's past the 90 day warranty.
