I am getting excited with the Wii U release of "Disney Infinity 2.0" and I recently saw the original "Disney Infinity" program was available on the Wii U eShop for free. I tried to download it, but it said I had insufficient space.
I own a basic model Wii U (the white one) and I also have a flash drive (one that Nintendo officially partnered with) attached to it with Mario Kart 8 and Zelda: Wind Waker games downloaded. The flash drive I have takes up both the USB slots in the back, but my friend tells me there is one in the front, so I can use the USB port there to plug the Disney Infinity game pad into it.
I previously bought the "Disney Infinity" starter set for the first version as a birthday gift. I still own the Wii U disc, the game pad required and have a collection of figures for the first Infinity. I realize that "2.0" features another game pad, brand new game software and figures, I was going to trade my old game pad and game into the store I'm buying it from to hopefully get some money off for it. And I thought that, since Infinity is now free on the eShop, I could've downloaded it to my flash drive so I could still use the "world playset" pieces from the first copy.
But, for some reason, I did not get an option to download the software onto the flash drive. Is it only for download to the main system? If so, I tried moving data to the flash drive, but I still would not have enough room for it. Can anyone help me here?
