I have a Wii, I purchased a copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy and played all three games on my Wii with no issue. However, I got a Wii U for christmas last year, and I figured that I wanted to play some of Metroid Prime 3 since I haven't actually finished that game yet. However, when I go to play Metroid Prime Trilogy, Metroid Prime 1 and 3 will not load; it hangs the Wii U on the "Loading" screen, Metroid Prime 2 (and the multiplayer) magically work for some reason, but 1 and 3 do not.
The disk is completely pristine; no scratches or spots at all. I tested it on my old Wii, and Metroid Prime 3 loads properly, so I know that it's not a problem with the disk. Is there something wrong with my Wii U, or is there a bug in Metroid Prime 3 that is preventing it from loading on the Wii U?
