While the gyro sensors for the game pad are not the best, I tell you it's probably not the game pad itself. If it worsens to not being able to use it comepletely then there's a problem. Anyway, to calibrate the game pad go to the home menu and hold Y+B on the game pad for 5 seconds and a menu will appear on your game pad which will lead you though the calibration process. If this doesn't work I would suggest moving closer to the TV if you are quite a few metres away from it. I wish the best for you, and if you have any more conserns be sure to ask.
