Unfortunately, but I do not have this game yet to know if I might experience the same sort of lag, and so far you are the first person to report here about this, so I can't tell if this might be (or will be) a common problem yet.
And not sure when you might have sent Nintendo a webform, but it does take at least 48~72 hours to receive a response back, so if it has been longer than that, you could always try calling their 1-800-255-3700 (6 am ~ 7 pm Pacific, everyday) Customer Service number and hopefully you'll find out what the problem is and how to correct it.
